Tabify Web Part

Organize your pages’ multiple web parts into a single, tabbed interface specific to each page. All SharePoint out-of-the-box webparts and all Bamboo Solutions webparts are supported.

User Manual

Tabify is the tool that operates on a page level which allows you to view content per page in a smart, compact view. The goal of all our navigator products is to reduce the need for extra clicks and scrolls to navigate your content, and keeping that theme, tabify reduces the need for endless scrolling to get to the webpart or content you’re looking for. Tabify also allows you to design pages with a lot more content on them, without having a ridiculously long page as a result. 

Adding Tabify to A Page

1. Open the page to which you would like to add the Tabify Web Part

2. Put the page in edit mode

3. Insert the webpart Bamboo Navigator Tabify at the top of the page

Configuring Tabify

Select the gear in the top right-hand corner to edit settings for the content on your page

Tab Content

1. Title - Indicates the title on the tab
2. Link - enter words to use to generate a unique link that opens the page straight to that tab
3. # Webparts - Indicate how many webparts should be on this tab (can group multiple now)
4. # Columns - Indicate how many Columns should be one the tab
5. Custom Tab Style - Toggle on and off the custom tab style options that follow
   1. Choose font for custom tab style
   2. Choose Text color for custom tab style
   3. Choose font size for custom tab color
6. Continue to set up tabs with webparts until satisfied

Style

1. Theme - Choose from an array of theme options
2. Animation - Choose from an array of animation options
3. Orientation - Toggle between vertical and horizontal orientation
4. Tab Text Alignment - Toggle between Left and Center
5. Custom Tab Colors Enabled? - Toggle between yes and no, use the color fields that follow to establish color scheme

Selectors

There are additional settings that can impact the functionality of your product. If you are unfamiliar with these settings leave them as-is. 

Save with the save button at the bottom left of the tabify application and publish the page to observe the tabify settings you have established. 

Premium vs. Free Version

Tabify by Bamboo Solutions has two version, a free version and a premium version. The free version limits the user to being able to roll-up a limit of three webparts underneath it, to roll-up more than three webparts into a Tabify iteration, you should purchase the premium version. 

Integration with SharePoint Applications

Our product integrates with all SharePoint OOB web parts, and most third-party web parts, including all Bamboo products.
