Configuring the free Directory Plus Web Part

After uploading the free Directory Plus product to your app catalog and adding the app to a site from the site contents, admins will see one new web part available to add to a page, the icon appears as below:

By selecting this icon free Directory Plus will populate onto your page. The directory information will automatically link and populate. Simply republish the page to view the results.

Free Directory Plus by Bamboo Solutions

The free version of Directory Plus allows a user to quickly search the directory using a search box, or a quick jump filter by the first letter of the last name. Also, when an entry is hovered over a same screen module pops up on the right-hand side of the screen with more information about that entry. An entry may also be clicked on to view this information in a new screen, this new screen includes a back button that allows quick navigation back to the free directory plus web part.

To customize the free version of directory plus a user must first edit the page on which resides the web part, and then click the pencil to the left of the web part to edit the web part.

Two things can be changed in the Directory Plus Web Part free version:

• Title
  • Customize what the Directory Plus Web Part’s name will appear as
• User List Display Style
  • Switch the display of the list of names between two options: cards or list
