User Manual

List Rollup consists of two webparts:

• List Rollup Schema Designer: A tool to design rollup schemas
  
• List Rollup Grid View: A tool to view the results of the designed rollup schemas

List Rollup Schema Designer

After adding the List Rollup Schema Designer to a page, the user can click + New button to start designing a new schema.

1. Schema Name - Name for the schema you are designing
2. Schema Description - Description for the schema you are designing
3. Template Lists - Where you denote which lists to include, select + Add List
   
   • Discovery Mode tab -
     
     • Select a discovery mode - select your mode of discovery (Same List Type, Same List Name, or From Specific Lists)
     • Select a discovery scope - select your scope (Current Site, All Siblings of this site, All Subsites of this site, All Siblings and Subsites of this site, All sites within the Site Collection for this site)
   • List Selection tab - 
   • 
     • Site URL - select URL from where you load items selected in discovery mode
     • List Name - select list from dropdown
   • Filter Tab
   • Add filters to your lists as needed
   • Click "Include List" to save changes
4. Lists to Exclude - if you would like to exclude specific lists from your rollup they can be added here Click "Exclude List" to save and repeat as many times as needed. 
5. Columns to Display - Select which columns from the master list/template should appear in the Grid view Click save on the top right once you are finished and you will be brought back to the main screen and will see your brand new schema!
   
6. Action column:
   The trash can icon deletes the schema
   The overlapping paper icons creates a copy of the schema with a (copy) on the end of the name
   The eyeball icon provides a quick glimpse of what the schema will look like in grid view
7. Edit Column:
   The pencil icon opens the schema back up for editing

List Rollup Grid View

After adding the List Rollup Grid View to a page, the user can proceed to load any previously designed schemas into the grid view.

1. Grid View Name - give your grid view a name
2. Grid View Description - describe the grid view
3. Site URL - locate the site from where you with to load your schema
4. List Rollup Schema - Select the Schema
5. Click "Show Data" to view grid
   
   Columns in the grid view can be resized, sorted by ascending or descending, reordered using drag and drop, and searched on using the search box on the top right. 
   
   To view another Schema just select "<- Schema selection" to return to the home dashboard of the List Rollup Grid View webpart.
