With the Bamboo Microsoft Project Add-in you can import tasks from Microsoft Project 2013 into your PM Central project site's Tasks list.
Notes:
- Bamboo Microsoft Project Add-In will install using the InstallShield regardless if the Microsoft Project 2013 is already installed or not. However, Bamboo Microsoft Project Add-In can only be used with Microsoft Project 2013 already installed.

Installing the Add-in Using the Setup Program
If you want to install the Bamboo Microsoft Project Add-in for Microsoft Project 2013, you can use the PM Central Setup program.
To install the Add-in from the Setup program:
- Copy the product .exe file to the desktop machine where you want to install the Add-in. Double-click the file to extract its contents.
- Double-click Setup.bat to launch the PM Central Setup program.

Select Microsoft Project Add-in component in the left menu and click Install.
This install works with both versions of Microsoft Project (32 bit or 64 bit).
To find out which version you have, open Microsoft Project. Under File > Account, the version is listed in the About Microsoft Project section.

After clicking Install, follow the prompts in the InstallShield setup wizard.
Note: You can keep the default location as Program Files (x86) or select Program Files. It should work from either locations. When the installation is complete, click Finish. -
In the Control Panel, go to Programs and Features. Verify that the Bamboo Microsoft Project Add-in is displayed in the list of programs.
In the toolbars of Microsoft Project 2013, you should see the PM Central Add-In tab, with the three actions in the ribbons: Import to SharePoint Tasks List, Connect to PM Central Tasks List, and Synchronize.
Installing the Bamboo Microsoft Project Add-in Using the Setup.exe
All current versions of the Bamboo Microsoft Project Add-in are included in the misc subfolder of the PM Central installation package.
To install the Add-in using the Setup.exe:
- Run the product .exe file to extract its contents. Browse to the misc subfolder.
- Copy the Bamboo.MSProjectAddInSetup.exe to the desktop machine where you want to install the Add-in.
This install works with both versions of Microsoft Project 2013 (32 bit or 64 bit).To find out which version you have, open Microsoft Project 2013. Under File > Account, the version is listed in the About Microsoft Projectsection.

After you copy the file, double-click it to launch the setup wizard.
Note: You can keep the default location as Program Files (x86) or select Program Files. It should work from either locations. -
Follow the prompts in the wizard to install the Add-in. Click Finish after the installation is complete.

Allowing Other Users to Use the Add-in
Note: Users must have at least the SharePoint Design permission level in order to import data from Microsoft Project.
When the Add-in is installed, it will only be available in Microsoft Project for the user who performed the installation. To allow other users on the same computer to use the Add-in:

Log in using a different user account than the one used to install the Add-in.

Go to folder Bamboo Solutions Corporation: from Program File(x86) > Bamboo Solutions Corporation > Bamboo Microsoft Project Add-in > select Bamboo.MSProjectAddin file.

Click Install.
The other user accounts are now able to use the Bamboo Microsoft Project Add-in without having to perform the full installation.
In R4.0, you can also log in using a form-based authentication account.
