Why Can I Not Create a Web Part Connection with Event List Configured?

SYMPTOMS
	I am unable to create a Web Part connection with the Web Part if the Event List is configured with it.
CAUSE
	This is due to a SharePoint limitation where the Event List's Begin Date and End Date are not filterable.
