How Azure Outages Affect My Bamboo and Cloud Parts

Bamboo Solutions relies on Microsoft Azure services for these products and services:

• My Bamboo is hosts on Azure VMs.
• Alert Plus and List Rollup Cloud Parts use Azure functions during installation from My Bamboo.
• Alert Plus uses Azure functions and services to poll for alert items and send email alerts.
• The Bamboo Sandbox sites used for demos and trials are hosted on Azure VMs.

These services have proven reliable over time and we have configured fail-over where possible but generalized Azure service disruptions can still affect our products in two primary ways:

1. Installations of new products and updates of existing products may be temporarily affected.
2. Alerts may be temporarily delayed from sending.
3. Demos and trials may be temporarily unavailable.
