SYMPTOMS

Installation feedback shows this error:

      "This solution contains resources scoped for a Web application and must be deployed to one or more Web applications."

CAUSE:

   This error indicates that the web part installation was incomplete or an older installation was only partially removed before the current installation.

RESOLUTION:

This can be resolved by running the Bamboo GUI installer, select the option to remove when prompted, removing the product, and then reinstalling it.

OR

Go into the Solution Management page in Central Administration, and retract and then remove the Bamboo product WSP(s) manually.
Then run the Bamboo GUI installer and install the product.
