Associated workflows not configured to allow manual start appear as Start Workflow choices on the Recipient(s) tab.

R4.0.102 11/18/2015	Resolved Issues: Maintenance timer job fails to process all sites when one of them is missing an Alert Configuration List. Adding Alert Plus web part to the same page as a Calendar List disables the pagination function in the month view of the calendar. Cannot input a value of 0 for Follow-Up Wait Days when Bamboo Navigators web part is on the same site. The web part displays an error when adding it to a Norwegian site. Cannot display lookup column values. Header, body, and footer tags not displayed in alert email if written with lower-case letters. Email alerts not displaying calculated columns correctly. Fields in Web Part settings (under Appearance, Layout, Advanced) are disabled after upgrading to R4.0. In a multi-server farm, if the server hosting Central Administration doesn't have SharePoint Foundation Web Application service running, WLM shows error when trying to activate latest storefront version of Alert Plus. R4.0.84 09/08/2015	New Features: Option for alerts to only be sent once. Resolved Issues: Alerts on recurring events fail to send under certain conditions. Editing an email template in HTML mode breaks hyperlinks. A blank alert is sent along with a regular alert under certain conditions. A blank space after a semi-colon caused alerts to only be send to the first address listed. Name tokens not displayed when alerting on a rollup list. Text updates.

Use an alternate “From” address for alerts: Define a default “From” address per Web App. Optionally allow users to define a “From” address per alert. R3.3.148 09/17/2014	Resolved Issues: Debugging tools may show https warnings when accessing a page that contains the Alert Plus Web Part. When the Alert Plus configuration list is copied from an existing site to a new site, alerts with custom schedules that are based on List Rollup data do not run on the new site. Compatibility updates to support the use of Alert Plus with Project Management Central version 4.3.
R3.3.141 03/14/2014	New Features: Under "Recipient(s)>Send to a fixed set of Users or E-mail Addresses": Added a new option for "Search SharePoint Users". Updated the text of options "Email Address List" to "Enter E-mail Addresses" and "User List" to "Select from List". Under the "Recipient(s)>Send to members of a SharePoint Site or Cross-Site Group": New option "Search SharePoint Groups", ability to perform on editing alert of large data. Resolved Issues: Web part can be very slow when editing alerts in environments with a large number of users (>10,000) and/or groups (>1,000). Changed text of word "Upgrade" to "Update" in Alert Plus Utilities setup. When appending MouseOver functions to the end of the URL where the Alert Plus Web Part (ex. "?IsDlg=1"%20onMouseOver=alert(11650)//"), a JavaScript error may occur when mousing over an alert. Alerts cannot be saved if spaces are included after semicolons in a list of email addresses (example: [e-mail]; [e-mail]).
R3.2.132 01/16/2014	Resolved Issues: Fixed cross site scripting issue. Email not sent to all addresses in a list view if "Item Limit" setting in that view is modified. JavaScript error on a publishing page when editing an alert. Email not sent when CAML query created by the Criteria Builder uses a comparison of less than or greater than.

R3.2.114 12/12/2012	Resolved Issues: Alerts are not sent to recipients if the selected SharePoint group is not part of the site where Alert Plus Web Part resides. NOTE: The recipient tab in Alert Plus Web Part now displays all SharePoint Groups in the Site Collection, including groups from sites that do not inherit permissions. In certain cases, if alert list is filtered by CAML using Calculated column, alerts are not sent. Alerts are not sent if the recipient is configured to lookup email address from Alert List when the alert list is configured for Incoming Email. Bamboo Visual Indicator column does not appear in the Alert Plus Web Part. If the Alert Item id is greater than 32768, no tokens are included in the e-mail alert.
R3.2.91 06/15/2012	New Features: Two new tokens are available in the Mail Format tab: {ItemURL} returns just the item url. Can be used in <a href> tag for example <a href="{ItemURL}"> Link to item</a> {SiteURL} returns just the site url. Can be used in <a href> tag for example <a href="{SiteURL}"> Link to site</a> Added support for Bamboo Aggregation Service in List Rollup Web Part, Release 6.0 and greater. Resolved Issues: Unable to get values when columns have special names. Some columns are not populating data when special characters (grave, parentheses, underscore, etc.) are in the name. Custom timer job problems occurred when changing some schedules. A customer reported that after editing an alert's custom schedule, they were still getting emails referencing the old, outdated schedule. Alerts fail to send when the recipient is set to "Lookup an Email Address in the Alert List" and the value of the selected lookup column is a SharePoint Group instead of a User. Alerts fail to send on expanded recurring events.
R3.2.66 02/03/2012	Resolved Issues: Alert Plus does not send emails for alerts created on site collections other than the main site collection for the following triggers: "A specific column in the list changes" and "An item in the list is deleted". After upgrading from version 2.x to 3.2.x, event receivers are not sent to Alert Plus for the following triggers: “A specific column in the list changes” and “An item in the list is deleted”. Alert Plus experiences performance issues when the Web application contains more than 1,000 site collections. Alert Plus sends duplicate alert emails for items that are created during the first eight seconds of even-numbered minutes. The Document Name field in alert emails does not display the descriptive document name entered when the alert was created. Alert Plus experiences performance issues while updating data in Datasheet view for the trigger “A specific column in the list changes”. Alert Plus does not send alert emails for Calendar lists for the trigger “A specific column in the list changes”. Alert Plus does not send alert emails when the Alert List Column is mapped to a metadata column.
R3.2.52 10/28/2011	New Features: Alert Plus Web Part now uses Web License Manager Version 2.0.10.0. Includes a drop-down View that allows users to sort and filter alerts. Resolved Issues: Alert Plus does not include information about which version is currently installed. The Web Part returns a blank window when using a CAML query for a multiple choice column. Customers do not receive emails when the "Column to map to Alert List" and "Alert List Column" Advanced columns are configured for multiple values. There is no method for sorting or filtering alerts on the Alert Plus interface. Added support for SA12 Project Management Central.
3.2.38 08/18/2011	New Features: Provides the ability for alerts to start workflows, including Bamboo Workflow Conductor and SharePoint Designer workflows. Includes sample manual installation/uninstallation script in the "misc" folder of the installation package. In the alert item CAML filter, decimal values are now supported when using the addValue tag with "Today". For example: <Value Type="DateTime" IncludeTimeValue=”TRUE”><Today /><addValue value="0.0208" /></Value> will be true if the item is overdue by 30 minutes. Resolved Issues: Switching "How often are e-mails sent?" between "Custom Schedule" and "As Soon As Possible" and then saving the alert job displays the error: "The following errors were found on the Event Tab: Select one or more days to send alerts". Lithuanian characters in the alert message body does not display properly. If an alert job is configured with "How often are e-mails sent?" set to "Custom Schedule" and the interval type is set to "Minutes" with no value, the following error is displayed when the job is saved: "SaveData:: Object reference not set to an instance of an object". When "Custom Schedule" is selected for "How often are e-mails sent?", duplicate alert messages are sent based on number of Web front-end (WFE) servers in the SharePoint Farm. If the Recipient tab is configured with the option "Lookup an E-mail Address in another List (Advanced)", an error message may be displayed if the Linked List Column and Alert List Column types do not match. If the URL of the alert list contains a hyphen (-), Alert Plus will return an error that the site cannot be found. To resolve this issue, copy the existing alert job and delete the original alert job. In certain cases when the option "Combine multiple alerts into summary notification" is selected, only the first two items are included in the summary e-mail even if there are more than two items to be alerted on. If the currently logged-in user has an internal ID of 32678 or greater and the Recipient tab is configured with the "Send to me" option, an error message is displayed. Custom column types that inherit the People and Group column type are not displayed in the alert message body. No data is displayed for Bamboo Lookup Selector columns in the alert message body if "Allow multiple values" is enabled in the Bamboo Lookup Selector settings. If the user included a Multiple Lines of Text column in the message body and it included a line break, the symbol  is displayed for each line break. In certain cases when the option "Combine multiple alerts into summary notification" is selected, the alert job may not start because the Timer Job was not created. Incorrect alert items may be returned from alert list when filtering by date if the alert list is a List Rollup Schema. To resolve this issue, upgrade to List Rollup version 5.0.144 or higher. In certain cases when upgrading from release 3.0 to release 3.1, the error "Index was outside the bounds of the array" may be displayed. Alert messages may include e-mail header information in the message body starting with "; charset=utf-8". Alert Plus does not correctly handle SharePoint lists that contain a character with an umlaut. Alert Plus does not properly consume data from Metadata columns (TaxonomyField) for filtering and use as tokens in the alert message. --> See known issue for List Rollup mode. Alerts are not sent when new discussion board threads are created in the Discussion Board list configured in the alert. Additional Notes: If an alert job in Alert Plus is connected to Bamboo List Rollup Web Part, it is recommended that List Rollup Web Part version 5.0.144 or later is installed.
3.1.29 06/30/2011	Resolved Issues: Alert Plus was incorrectly writing to Bamboo log files. All Bamboo Solutions products log to the same file called bsc_bamboo_{PID}.log stored on the SharePoint Web Front End (WFE) server. To locate this file, on the SharePoint WFE server, go to Start -> Run and enter %windir%\temp\BambooSolutions.
3.1.28 05/12/2011	New Features: Support for sending non-HTML e-mail from Alert Plus. New option to set alert e-mail priority. Additional custom schedule options. Support for alerting on individual items in a recurring Calendar list event. Multiple SharePoint site/site collection groups can be selected as alert recipients. Support for relative paths when selecting lists. Improved summary e-mail formatting. Only the message body is repeated in alert summary e-mails; the alert title is no longer included in the message body. The subject of the summary e-mail is the subject entered in the Mail Format tab. Created, Modified, and CreatedOrModified triggers read data directly from the list and not from the Alert Change List (Alert List Site Type Option "0"). The Admin tab has been removed. Settings from this tab have been moved to the Event tab. General UI improvements. Resolved Issues: Custom Schedule stays checked even if unchecked and saved. Note: Admin tab removed in R3.1. Custom schedules are now on the Event tab. {sitelink} hyperlink in Subject link not formatted correctly. Alert does not run if "A specific column in the list changes" trigger uses a CAML query for a column of data type "Boolean". Alert Plus Web Part requires stored credentials to configure Web Part. Alerts are not sent if the alert list includes a Bamboo Column Level Security column. Some dates display incorrectly when a token for a Date/Time column is used in the alert e-mail No e-mail sent if recipient user has not logged into SharePoint. Alerts for recurring Calendar events do not use the correct dates for individual items in the series. Alert Plus fails when one of the site collections in the Web app is locked. Alert item list selected using a CAML statement is different than the item list using a list view with the same filter. Note: Use OffsetDays instead of addValue in CAML queries. addValue is supported for backwards compatibility, but OffsetDays is preferred and supported by SharePoint. .
3.0.72 03/24/2011	Resolved Issues: Alert Plus displays the date incorrectly for New Zealand. Brackets "{" and "}" get encoded when a tag is part of an HREF. The "Use Custom Schedule" option on the Admin Options tab does not override Event tab settings. Cannot save "Use Custom Schedule" options in the Admin Options tab on Windows Server 2008 (German) with German SharePoint. The following error appears when selecting a document library with an Information Management Policy attached to the content type: "System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

R2.8.23 6/25/2010	Initial Release on Microsoft Windows SharePoint Foundation 2010 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010. This build is for an environment on SharePoint Foundation 2010 and SharePoint Server 2010 that does not already have Bamboo products installed. Currently we do not support in-place upgrades.
Known Issues & Limitations
R4.0.128	New Known Issues: Error with "Send to a SharePoint List" recipient option if alert is created when using French as alternate language.
R4.0.102	New Known Issues: When using the {Comment/New} token from a List Rollup Schema, the current value is displayed instead.
R4.0.84	New Known Issues: In Project Management Central SA12, the recipient field may not populate under the "Send reminder to requestor when query report is completed" alert. Workaround: change the "Alert List Site Option Type" value to 2. Selecting alert configuration values in Safari causes page to reload. Image Manager and Table Wizard may display incorrectly. Workaround: add the installer account as a Site Collection Administrator. Changes made within the Table Wizard are not reflected in the email content. Workaround: use inline table styles instead. New Limitations: None.
R4.0.58	New Known Issues: After upgrading to version 4.0, the "en-US" language may be selected in the Web Part settings even if German, Spanish, or French was previously selected. The Last Run Status for alerts may display an error message instead of the correct status. Uninstalling the optional Application Server Add-In component from a Web Front End (WFE) removes parts needed by the standard Web Part settings. Workaround: Re-install the required Alert Plus Web Part component to replace any missing components. In some cases, a username/ password log in is required to see SharePoint image in alerts when using Outlook Web Mail. Picture is not shown for some users on Chrome/ Firefox when using Outlook Web Mail. The Alert Plus settings pages in Central Admin show errors after installing. Workaround: Some files may not have been deployed properly by SharePoint. Run the command "Install-SPApplicationContent" in the SharePoint Management Shell while in admin mode to deploy the missing content. In some very rare cases, alert email content may include strike through lines italics or other unintended formatting. Customized CSS formats may not be applied correctly in alert content when using the Table Wizard feature in the rich text editor.

No e-mail is send when create new column -  Create new column with "Date and Time" type (Date only) for Shared Documents list. Last Run Status --> see error "Input string was not in a correct format" when triggers the alert: "An item in the list is created" for My Task View. The query is based on the userid, and since when alert plus is running no user is logged in, the query will not work. Limitations: Alert on recurring item in a calendar list. R3.0 provides support for alerting on recurring items in a calendar list. However if the series is modified, the users will get emails for each recurrence items if they alerts on items modified etc. This web part is not tested in an environment where SP 2007 is in-placed upgraded to SP 2010. We are currently in the process of developing a migration procedure from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010 for this product.

No e-mail is send when create new column -  Create new column with "Date and Time" type (Date only) for Shared Documents list. Last Run Status --> see error "Input string was not in a correct format" when triggers the alert: "An item in the list is created" for My Task View. The query is based on the userid, and since when alert plus is running no user is logged in, the query will not work. Limitations: Alert on recurring item in a calendar list. R3.0 provides support for alerting on recurring items in a calendar list. However if the series is modified, the users will get emails for each recurrence items if they alerts on items modified etc. This web part is not tested in an environment where SP 2007 is in-placed upgraded to SP 2010.
